Part 7

Moon woke up in the hospital bed where the Manager of the hotel he lodged took him to. 

He felt so weak and couldn’t speak properly, but he managed to say something as he saw a nurse in the room with him.

I feel strange “ moon said. 

Where I’m I? He enquires from the nurse changing his drip bag. 

 

You are in a hospital she responded while turning her back on him in other to hang the drip well.

What? 

That voice…that’s AMA’s VOICE he screamed.

Immediately the nurse turned and it was Ama…

The room became so cold like a fridge.. the unusual sound was coming from the roof and the bed  he was lying on became wet and started shaking strangely 

Moon became so scared to his intestines as he shouted 

JESUS JESUS JESUS JESUS 

STAY AWAY FROM ME while holding unto his pillow, stay away….YOU ARE DEAD, YOU ARE DEAD…JESUS JESUS 

SHUT UP MORON 

The nurse shouted 

 Do you think I will let you breathe? Do you think I will die and go just like that? Then you must be stupid. 

You are not only a murderer moon, you are evil. 

YOU WILL PAY FOR CUTTING MY LIFE SHORT…you will join me here and I won’t stop till there is no hope of life in you anymore. I loved you, I was a perfect woman for you… 

I lost my father in a car accident and he was the only family I ever had, I never knew who my mother was and after his death, I became traumatized because of his dismissal. 

Moon cried his eyes out in fear, his eyeballs rolling like a roller coaster” Ama continued’

I have been trying to be fine and you knew all this Moon, but you allowed anger to get the better part of you. I thought you loved me? I was wrong and right now all  I feel is RAGE “ I want to WATCH YOU lose YOUR SENSES BIT BY BIT, I want to Watch YOU DIE A MISERABLE DEATH IF YOU DO NOT CALL THE POLICE AND TELL THEM HOW YOU MURDERED YOUR LOVING FIANCE IN COLD BLOOD THAT QUEIT NIGHT… 

AMA’s voice echoed 

 Moon managed to run away from the room after successfully removing everything connected to his veins and nose.

He ran outside shouting and pointing towards his room.

The doctor and everyone ran towards him

Calm down sir, calm down..you will be alright…

How? Moon asked anxiously

Did I say I am not alright? No, do I look sick to you? I am alright, I’m not going crazy. 

I’m not sick.

I’m very sure Ama was the one I saw, she said she will kill me. She’s dead yet I’m seeing her? Why is she doing this to me? 

Is okay… let’s take you back to your room now

 

Which room? 

NO NO NO 

I can’t go back in there, she’s there…Ama is there, and my Fiancé’ Ghost is there dressed as a nurse. I don’t want to die, no and I AM NOT GOING CRAZY, I know what I saw and I’m not mistaken.

Nobody is there sir, we have checked and no one is in there.

 

Is a lie…she’s the nurse, Ama is there…my fiancé's ghost is after my life. Call my Mom, call my mom immediately. Where is my phone? Where the hell is my dame phone?

He is mad, he’s not with his sense anymore “ a woman said to his little son who was looking at Moon.

I am not mad….don’t say that again, I’m not crazy. What do you mean? I AM NOT MAD, I AM ALRIGHT 

WHERE IS MY PHONE? 

Here it is sir…

A nurse brought the phone

It was ringing while you were in a coma, Lilian was calling. I told her where you are and she’s on her way to this place now

You did what? Moon shouted 

Did you tell that Witch I’m in the hospital? What right do you have to take my calls? How dare you woman?

Sorry sir but we needed to let your family or friends know what happened to you. 

you have been here since yesterday.

Moon dialed his Mom on the phone 

Mom, please come to the hospital…I’m in the hospital, yes Mom…I don’t know just come right now.

Wait let me ask…

“Which hospital is this? He asked the nurses

Aggre Hospital at T way

Aggre Hospital Mom…yes the one at T way.

I have been admitted there Mom, no Mom. I’m losing my mind and I need you now, I have something to say to you. 

Please come alone. I don’t understand what is happening to me, Mom.

Okay Mom… he hanged the phone 

As he was being taken inside the reception, Lilian walked in…

I don’t understand” she said staring at Moon

Moon, you look like a piece of shit….

I think you should be taken to a psychiatric home and not here…

You have finally gone bananas “ 

It is you that should be in a psychiatric home, what the hell are you doing here? Moon angrily replied

I am here to frustrate you the more until you tell me what happened to my darling friend Ama”

Lilian fired back.
